Shoreline Water District is governed by a 3-member, non-partisan elected Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners hold the general manager responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling the day to day operations, business administration and regulatory compliance functions of the District. Besides delegating a general manager, the Board is also responsible for deciding District policy, which is adopted through resolution.
