Commissioner Larry Schoonmaker

Before moving to the Shoreline area, Larry served in Burien, Washington as a Commissioner for approximately 10 years at King County Water District #49.  In 1990, Larry opened up the North City Bistro.  A few years later, he moved to Shoreline.  

Larry was first appointed to the  Board of Commissioners as a replacement for an outgoing Commissioner in March of 2006.  He has since been re-elected to the position.  When asked what he likes most about serving as a water commissioner, Larry stated that he enjoys staying busy and having the opportunity to give back to the local community.
